This project was started in 1985 and worked on till 1992. I returned to it in 1999. The intent is to get to primary evidence for as many of the Wyatt ancestors as is possible. I am concentrating on Generations 1-10. The materials from Gen. 11-43 are to illustrate the line back through Charlemagne.

Rev. Hawte Wyatt was born in Boxley Manor, Kent? circa 1594. He married (1st ?other sources reverse this marriage sequence) Elizabeth Mitford circa 1618; immigrated, 1621. Destination: Virginia. He married (2) Anna Cox|Cocke ( -1632) after 1625/6. He died 31 July 1638 at 44 years of age. His body was interred 1 August 1638 in Boxley Church, Kent.

George Wyatt was born in Allington Castle, Kent circa 1550. He married Jane Finche ( -1644) 8 October 1582. George died 1624 in Ireland, at 74 years of age. His body was interred 1 September 1624 in Boxley Manor, Kent. He wrote a genealogy of the Wyatt family published as The Papers of George Wyatt, ed. Loades, D.M., Camden Society, 4th series, 5 [1968] Roy. Hist. Soc.
